Kelly is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor and is considered an expert in the field of addiction treatment. He uses methods suited to your personal situation including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Systems Theory, and Gestalt Therapy—with timely doses of stories, wit, and humor.

Kaylee Strickland P-LPC, ED.S., M.E.d., NCC

Kaylee is a provisionally licensed professional counselor (P-LPC) with a specialization in working with children, youth, and their families. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then went on to earn a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an Educational Specialist degree in Play Therapy. Kaylee is passionate about play therapy, recognizing it as a powerful tool that helps children express themselves, process emotions, and develop coping skills in a way that comes naturally to them. Throughout her career, Kaylee has had the opportunity to work with individuals ranging from three years old to adulthood, experiences that have solidified her belief in the potential of every child to grow and thrive.
 
Outside of the therapy room, Kaylee is a self-proclaimed nerd with a big heart. She loves to play video games, watch movies, and spend time with her dog, a chiweenie named Nugget. She’s particularly enthusiastic about anything related to the franchise The Legend of Zelda, and she’s recently started collecting Pokémon cards. If she’s not playing video games in her free time, she’s probably out watching the newest movies with her friends.

Ben Stepp LPC, LPCS

Ben Stepp is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Counselor Supervisor in the state of Mississippi. He holds a Bachelors in Arts in Economics, a Masters in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Mississippi. He is a combat wounded veteran, former police officer, and has worked with adults with special needs. Ben uses Meaning in his counseling sessions. He specializes in working with Veterans, Police, First Responders and trauma.

Myra Simmons M.E.d, P-LPC

Myra Simmons is a National Board-Certified Counselor and a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi. She is a U.S. Navy veteran that served during Desert Storm. She holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Therapy, Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management and certified as a Health & Wellness Coach. She has served the surrounding counties in receiving federal benefits, resources, and therapeutic services for over 20 years. She specializes in working with military service women and veterans facing the unique challenges of transition difficulties, stress, marriage\family and parenting challenges, victims of domestic violence, and individuals with a chemical dependency.  She promotes holistic behavioral changes and accountability in the pursuit of improving the quality of life that empowers her clients to reach their personal and professional goals.

Robert "Bob" Hill - Clinical Mental Health Counselor - Intern

Bob is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern attending Liberty University. He received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Utah and is finishing his master’s degree from Liberty University. He has been trained in and taught several prevention programs and loves to help others realize their strength and resilience. He retired from the U.S. Army where he served in the infantry, instructor, and as a combat medic. He has completed several combat deployments and has traveled extensively, helping him understand different cultures. The has also worked as a police officer, paramedic, and firefighter. He loves working with first responders, veterans, and their families.  He works hard to be able to see and understand the unique needs of his clientele. He loves person-centered, CBT, and experiential therapies because he believes in each person’s ability to fill their own needs when they have the right tools available. Bob and his wife have raised four strong daughters and love to empower others. He believes that everyone has worth and purpose and would love to help others find theirs. Bob welcomes counseling anyone but holds a special place in his heart working with veterans, first responders, teenagers/young adults, and the LGBT community. When not working, Bob is likely to spend time with his wife and/or daughters, preferably doing outdoor activities. He also loves to be creative with wood carving, homesteading, and working with animals in his spare time.
